Last week I managed to make dimdim do my bidding, and I was able to hold an hour long introduction to the new CouncillorNet service I was launching.

When it worked it was actually quite impressive, easy to use and the ability to switch between desktop sharing and presentation was quite useful.

So I'm going to be running another information session for those of you who are interested. This one is going to be on Open Source and Local Government. I'm going to focus on the benefits that Open Source Software can bring to the Local Government sector, not so much in terms of bottom line costs, but in the development of new services and communities.
