I was going to write a post about some up and coming Collaborynth services, but I need to fine tune a couple of things first of, so I'm going to blog about this instead.
I've been pointed at a new blog being run by a couple of people down at the LGSA (Local Government and Shires Association) and LOC&L (Local Online Communications & Linkages). Called the LG Web Network it is a network that has been setup for those involved with web development in the local government sector. As well as being a place for web co-ordinators to gather online they are also running a conference in a couple of weeks.
This is one of those things I would love to have heard about earlier. The internet offers Local Government bodies huge opportunities, and this network and the conference attached is a great step forward.
