I'm happy to announce a new service that Collaborynth hopes to provide to Councils across the country.

CouncillorNet is an easy to use and cost effective hosted Extranet or "Collaboration Space" designed for the creation and management of "Councillor Networks". Built using Open Source and Open Standards based technologies, CouncillorNet features an intuitive interface that allows new users to start interacting with the system with a minimum of training, and yet it features a very robust security regime, which access to each object within the CouncillorNet governed on a case by case basis.

CouncillorNet is but the first of a range of services that we are developing for the Local Government sector and we will be bringing you more about them in the coming months.
